Louver Shop Lifetime Limited Warranty

Louver Shop’s Lifetime Limited Warranty is an expression of our desire to provide a thoroughly satisfying experience when selecting, purchasing, and living a lifetime with your new custom shutters. Louver Shop shutters are designed and built to provide you with years of satisfaction.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the Warranted Shutters and is limited to the original location and interior window in which the Warranted Shutter was originally installed by a certified Louver Shop market representative.

• LouverWood™ solid poly shutters and their paint finishes are guaranteed for life not to warp, crack, peel, or discolor.
• Heritage wood shutters and their paint finishes are guaranteed for life not to warp, crack, peel, or discolor.
• Classic and Traditional shutters and their paint finishes are guaranteed for life not to warp, crack, peel, or discolor.
• All our interior stain finishes are guaranteed for seven (7) years not to fade or discolor.
• Other products: including all blinds, shades, and soft window coverings are manufactured by 3rd party vendors and are covered by their respective manufacturer’s warranties.

If louver materials or workmanship of a Warranted Shutter is found to be defective, at our sole discretion, Louver Shop will repair or replace the Warranted Shutter, provided all the conditions of the warranty are met as stated in this warranty. Repair or replacement of a Warranted Shutter may require removal of the Warranted Shutter and return to Louver Shop or a location of its choice to be processed. Repair or replacement may require re-installation by a certified Louver Shop market representative. Dealer trip charges or costs associated with the removal or re-installation of Warranted Shutters are NOT covered by this warranty.

Discontinued products will be repaired or replaced with current product components at Louver Shop’s sole discretion with reasonable efforts to repair or replace the discontinued product with the closest available product and color.

LIMITATIONS: This warranty does not cover and excludes conditions or damages resulting from the following: normal wear and service, accidents, alteration, abuse, misuse or neglect, pet damage, insect damage, exposure to temperature extremes (heat or cold), salty air, water, moisture, humidity, fire, smoke, and fumigation damage. This warranty is not applicable to any Warranted Shutter that is not installed by a certified Louver Shop market representative. This warranty is not applicable and excludes any product that is manufactured by a third-party vendor. Such products are warranted by the respective manufacturer’s warranty, which shall control such product(s). This warranty does not apply to commercial orders. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights, which may vary from state to state.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND LOUVER SHOP HAS NO OTHER LIABILITIES, OBLIGATIONS, OR WARRANTIES AS TO THE WARRANTED SHUTTERS, except as set forth in this warranty. Louver Shop is NOT liable for incidental or consequential damage or any other direct or indirect damage, loss, cost, expense, or fee. Some states do not recognize or permit the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so this exclusion and limitation may not apply to you.

Purchasers should contact their local market representative for assistance in obtaining a warranty service or further explanation of warranty terms. This warranty goes into effect on the day of installation and does not extend or modify the coverage of any product sold prior to that date.
