Jory's History & Experience in Window Treatments

Although Jory spent some time as a photographer, he also previously worked at a stage supply company, which introduced him to window blinds and shades through constructing stage scenes when a teenager. It was at that time he started to learn about construction and the importance of window treatments.

Jory started his career with the Louver Shop in March of 1992 as an installer. Later, he transitioned into sales and was eventually promoted to lead installation training for the company’s installers. In this capacity, he performed a lot of custom and special installations. From there, Jory moved into customer service with the Louver Shop.

All of these experiences contributed to Jory’s expertise in window treatments and today, he uses his extensive knowledge to help his customers make the right decisions for their home improvement projects.

Get to Know Jory

Although Jory works as the owner-operator of the Louver Shop of East Georgia, he makes sure to set aside time for much-needed leisure. He enjoys spending time with his son and daughter-in-law. Jory also likes to play guitar and is an active member of his church’s worship team and choir. He likewise likes spending time at Alexander Park in Gwinnett County.

Jory takes a unique approach to serving the customers of the Louver Shop of East Georgia by forgoing sales pitches and offering them solutions through an entirely different angle. He explains, “I don’t sell. I listen for what the client wants, then filter that information for practicality. I also sincerely try to help them meet their expectations and ensure they will be satisfied with their decision by presenting all the pros and cons.”
